Coach excursion to Lassithi
CIC treasurer Ralph Krüger arranged for us this day excursion to the Lassithi High Plateau.
On the way to we had a look at the Aposelemi Reservoir and the Panagia Kera Monastery, and on the way back at Crete's oldest plane tree at Krasi.

CIC treasurer Ralph Krüger arranged for us this day excursion by bus and boat via Hora Sfakion to Agia Roumeli.
Whoever liked so could walk to the southern exit of the Samaria Gorge and on to the Sidero Porta.

On the ways to and back via the Amari Valley we stopped by at Lake Sifis, and at our bus driver's home village of Nithavri.

Coach excursion to Plaka and Spinalonga
CIC treasurer Ralph Krüger arranged for us this day excursion to the former lepers' island of Spinalonga.
On the way to we had a tour of the Monastery of Agios Georgios at Selinari.
On the island of Spinalonga, we had expert guidance by the historian Lina who could give us much more detail than the display boards can do.

On the 10th of May, the annual charity event organised by Evellen Wright and friends took place.
The venue for the 11th event of this kind was for the first time the taverna of Camping Elizabeth at Misiria near Rethymnon.

Coffee and Cake Morning for the Red Cross
On the 10th of May, the annual charity event organised by Evellen Wright and friends took place.
The venue for the 11th event of this kind was for the first time the taverna of Camping Elizabeth at Misiria near Rethymnon.
With the help of the CIC group of Rethymnon, a total donation amount of 1,250.00 Euros for the Red Cross of Rethymnon could this time be collected.

On the 22nd of April, the wheelchair which had been donated by the CIC was handed over to the University Hospital.

By the excavation site of Aptera, a number of beautiful spring flowers photos have been taken (among others).
After a coffee stop at Megala Horafia we went to the ▶ Botanical Park near Fournes and had joint lunch in the park's taverna after a guided tour.
